Meet the Team

Danya Kneble, MS, LPC PMH-C
Owner and Clinical Supervisor

Life is a journey which brings its own unique challenges to overcome. My goal is to meet you on your journey, wherever that may be, and guide you through the process of facing life’s hardships and complications. I will walk beside you in support; our partnership is designed to help you find resilience and bloom.

As a PMH-C (perinatal mental health certified) I am passionate about working with mamas who are struggling with mental health. Whether that be women who are pregnant, experiencing post partum depression, postpartum anxiety or just need support while transitioning to motherhood. I have a heart working with women who are experiencing infertility, infant loss, or pregnancy loss. I am here to support mamas through whatever hardship they are facing.

Spirituality is an integral part of body, mind and spirit that is often overlooked in the counseling process. I offer Christian counseling to those that are of the Christian faith and can incorporate a faith based perspective if that is what you seek.

I frequently use EMDR, CBT, parts work and trauma informed care when working with clients.

Julie Pernicka- Office Manager

As office manager of Cactus Bloom counseling, my goal is to make sure that anyone who calls or walks through the door leaves feeling better than they did before. You will find me working behind the scenes, helping to keep things running smoothly. I will do everything I can to provide our clients with the best possible care.

As a wife, mother and previous preschool teacher of 10 years, I feel that my organizational skills, ability to multitask, and empathetic qualities will help in everyday tasks in the office. My administrative skills allow me to meet the needs of not only our clients, but the clinicians as well. I know that life can sometimes feel overwhelming and hard. We are here to walk through those times with you. I am proud to be a partner of the women of Cactus Bloom and  look forward to speaking with you and answering any questions you may have.

Amy Lamb, MA, LAC

Starting counseling takes a lot of courage and I celebrate your decision to begin this journey. Wherever you are at today, you can have hope for the future. Much of that hope comes from a better understanding of yourself and the many experiences that have influenced who you are now. As renowned psychologist
Irvin Yalom said, “self-awareness is a supreme gift, a treasure as precious as life.” My role is to help you unlock that gift of self-awareness so you can start to bloom.

As a Licensed Associate Counselor and adjunct faculty, I blend both mental health counseling and education to help clients learn about themselves and move forward with a renewed sense of clarity and purpose. In our sessions, we will explore areas that are most meaningful to you and identify any obstacles getting
in the way of your ability to thrive. Together, we will create goals and find strategies that work for you.

Every client is unique, so I tailor my therapeutic approach to best fit you and your needs. Our sessions may include aspects of Person-Centered Counseling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR,  attachment theory, mindfulness, the eight dimensions of wellness and other trauma-informed approaches. I currently work
with adult clients only.

Summer Milton, LPC

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, it is my passion to support individuals through life’s challenges—with warmth, honesty, and a deep belief in the power of healing relationships. Not only withothers, but with yourself.

My approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and shaped by a trauma-informed, family systems lens. That means I don’t just look at what’s happening within you—I also consider the relationships, roles, and patterns that may be influencing your struggles or your growth. I enjoy helping clients better understand how to improve communication, set healthy boundaries, and foster more connected, supportive relationships at home and beyond.

Whether you’re navigating grief, depression, anxiety, relational stress, or old wounds that are still showing up in the present, my goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel understood—and where meaningful, lasting change can happen.
