What to Expect at Cactus Bloom Counseling
Taking your first step in healing can be hard and I am here to help make that easier for you. It is normal to be apprehensive of what to expect, especially if this is your first time in therapy. Therapy is a partnership that can take time to grow and build with your therapist, and that is okay. Some people come into therapy feeling like they don’t know where to start. I am here to guide you through the process. During our first session it is an opportunity to “get to know you.” I will collect more comprehensive information about what your past and present experiences have been so that we can create goals and design a path to the future that you want.
Keep in mind that therapy is a process that can take time and is not an instant fix. By attending sessions regularly and being dedicated to implementing skills/insights learned during our sessions you can achieve therapeutic goals more efficiently.
